Summer Fun and My Favorite Summer Find {Five for Friday}

Happy Independence Day! I hope everyone has some fun planned today. Before I get started celebrating I wanted to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching and show you how my week went!

Gonna horse show but first let me take a selfie.

We tried to show the horses Saturday, but about 30 minutes before show time it came a downpour and got the ring way too wet and muddy. We're gonna give it another try tomorrow.

The kids in our church are working on service project for other kids in our area that may be in need of some basic supplies. These bags are packed with 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, hand sanitizer, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, band aids, bubbles, and a note sharing a bible verse and God's love.

I am so proud of how excited the kids were about this project and how enthusiastic they were about packing the bags!

This is my bestie and there couldn't be a better notebook for us! We took a little road trip to Staples this week. Yes, I said road trip. Staples is about a 45 minute drive for us.

I did get to eat lunch with this cutie!

I lucked up on a clearance Hello Kitty section in Staples. I could've bought it all...it was just so cute!

This little micro pedi thingy (that's a real word) has been my favorite find of the summer. I've been using it for a couple months now and my feet look great! I don't typically go have pedi, so this was a nice way to treat myself at home! It really does do what the ads say. Anyone else use it? You can click the picture above to go to Amazon and check it all out. I did some research and Amazon seems to have the best price on it.

  1. I love that those children are helping make bags for other children in need. That's so sweet....
    It's so funny to read about bloggers going on road trips to Staples or Ikea or whatever. Every store you can think of is 10 min. from my house. I never think about trips to certain stores being a trip. : )
    But then again, you have my dream life, living on a farm with all sorts of animals, so.... ; )
    Ok, so what is this micro pedi thingy? Does it massage your feet? If so, I need it STAT!

  4. I love that notebook!! I've had a gift card to Staples for a few months now because I'm not actually sure where the closest one is to me. Guess I should find it soon!
