I know some of you just got out of school, but my Summer days are numbered, so I'm already working on some BTS (my shorthand for Back to School) goodies.
I printed and cut these adorable little tags to add to a baggie of Lucky Charms on the first day.
You can click here to download a free set. These are NOT my original idea and the link will take you to the place I downloaded my labels from last year. This year I have a Silhouette Cameo, so I decided to take this idea and create something I could cut and print from the Silhouette. That was so much faster (and prettier) than cutting out all those little circles by hand! If you have a Silhouette and would like the file just leave me a comment with your email and I'll send it your way!
I also created a Find Someone Who sheet that I plan to do with my kiddos on the second day of school. I know there are a 1,000,000 of these out there, but it seems like not a lot of them fit my kiddos so I just whipped one up. You can click on the picture for your free copy!
I've also been using my Silhouette Cameo to play around with making some t-shirts.
I cut my racking horse out of freezer paper, ironed it on, and the sprayed around it with a mixture of 70% bleach and 30% water. Then I washed it out and threw it in the washer! You can read the whole tutorial (including how to do this without a Silhouette - easy peasy) here.
I will confess that this was my 3rd try. The first two turned out okay, but I didn't iron the paper down enough and the bleach got under the edges of the image so the lines weren't as crisp as I wanted them to be. This really was a very quick, easy project and this shirt was $2.50 at Wal Mart!!! I snagged it on clearance over the weekend.
TIP: I tried this with one of the Gildan $3.50 shirts in the craft section and didn't have any luck with that shirt.
Now on to the winner of the $10 TPT Gift Certificate from the Show Us Some Bloglovin' Giveaway. Drum roll...........
